In 1987, J. Arthur (Art) Garcia started working in the financial services industry with Prudential as a sole practitioner. He taught estate planning seminars throughout Southern California with various estate planning law firms. In May 2002, Art decided to incorporate his business into what is now known today as Pacific Financial Strategies, Inc. (PACFS).


Art felt this was the best way to serve his clients today and in the future. In 2023 Anna, Art's daughter, took on a larger role at the firm and is committed to continuing the legacy that Art started in 1987. The company continues to grow through client referrals.

In 1997, Art started teaching retirement planning seminars at various colleges and universities throughout Northern and Southern California. 

2002

In May 2002, Art decided to incorporate his business into what is now known today as Pacific Financial Strategies, Inc. (PACFS). Art felt this was the best way to serve his clients today and in the future. The company continues to grow through client referrals.

2023

In 2024, Anna became the owner of PFS with a clear mission: to honor and carry forward Art’s legacy. With deep respect for the foundation he built, she stepped into leadership committed to preserving the firm’s values, strengthening its client-first culture, and guiding the next chapter with the same integrity and care that defined Art’s work.
